Beliefs

What I believe:

Faith, Family, Freedom

  • I believe deeply in the inerrancy of Scripture—God's Word to us, The Holy Bible.
  • I believe that God creates and loves every person from conception, and desires for us to experience peace and eternal life with Him.
  • I believe that all people are separated from God by sin because we have chosen our own way rather than His.
  • I believe that Jesus Christ, God’s Only Son, is God's answer to that separation. Through His death on the cross and His resurrection, He provides forgiveness and the gift of eternal life.
  • I believe that each person must personally respond to Christ—repenting of sin, fully believing in His death, burial, resurrection, and coming again by following Him as Lord and Savior.

Faith

Because my life is grounded in faith, I see every person as created with dignity and worth. The truth of Scripture shapes leadership and reminds us to listen to the wisdom of our seniors, whose sacrifice and experience have laid the foundation for our community. My faith compels me to uphold truth, to live with integrity, and to serve others in humility.

Family

Family is the cornerstone of a strong community. My wife and I have raised our children with a commitment to faith, education, and responsibility. Families flourish when they are supported by a community that values stability, safety, and opportunity. Just as faith is passed from one generation to the next, families deserve a town government that makes sensible decisions to protect their well-being and preserve the values that matter most. I also believe deeply in the dignity of seniors who have built the foundations we now enjoy, and I am committed to ensuring they are honored, supported, and included in the life of our community.

Freedom

Freedom is a God-given blessing and a sacred trust. It is not just the liberty to do as we please, but the responsibility to do what is right. True freedom allows us to live out our convictions, worship openly, and raise our families without fear. Because I believe in the inerrancy of Scripture, freedom is something that must be grounded in truth, not shifting opinions. Leaders have a duty to protect these freedoms, defend them when challenged, and make decisions that strengthen—not weaken—the moral and civic foundations of our community.

Our Nation

I believe our nation is strongest when it acknowledges God’s blessings, protects our rights, and pursues justice with humility. From the beginning, ordinary citizens—guided by faith and courage—have stepped forward to lead our country through perilous times and into new innovations. Having lived and served in Bel Air, I carry a deep responsibility to continue our American tradition to serve faithfully—both my hometown and my country—with conviction and humility, to protect our God-given liberty.

Local Government

Local government is where the impact of genuine leadership is most immediate. A genuine leader is someone who develops their values from something greater than themselves—such as God. As someone who has served in law enforcement and ministry, I know firsthand the importance of making decisions that affect families, neighborhoods, and small businesses. A safe community does not happen by chance—it comes from responsible leadership, deeply rooted integrity, wise planning, and supporting those who protect and serve. My vision for Bel Air is to keep our town sensible in its decision-making and safe for every resident, so that families and seniors can thrive, businesses can succeed, neighborhoods can remain clean and secure, and the values we hold dear—faith, family, and freedom—can be preserved for future generations.
